Barry “Doc” Dockswell will use his community and business leadership skills and experience to develop and implement a plan for a better Pompano Beach:

Community-Driven Redevelopment

• Hire CRA Director
• Create Master Plan (including parking/traffic solutions)
• Amend Land Use Plan 
• With citizen participation throughout!

Good Government

• Take NO contributions form lobbyist or developers who appear before the Commission 
• Establish Term Limits
• Post political contributions on the city website
• Allow more public input at commission meetings
• Adopt a Code of Ethics for Pompano Beach government

Common Sense Budget and Taxes

• Reinstate citizen Budget Review Committee
• Broaden the tax base with smart redevelopment  to reduce the tax burden on home owners
